Aporia's Designs is a proudly Indigenous owned, family run business. Aporia Foster, the artist and designer, was born on Thursday Island and raised on Badu Island which is located in the near Western Cluster of the Torres Strait Islands. Aporia started off designing and hand engraving Torres Strait mother of pearl shells before moving onto laser printing. All his products are custom designed and produced by him. Aporia has always been creative and has recently become more interested in personalized Torres Strait Islander designs.
